Joint declaration adopted at the end of National Urban Forum

The first Azerbaijan National Urban Forum on the topic of “Sustainable Development Goals” and “New Urban Agenda” – as a leading force of recovery and reconstruction during the conflict” was held n the cities of Aghdam and Baku on October 5 and 6, in cooperation with the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee and the UN-Habitat Program, with the organizational support of ADA University, reports citing the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan,

More than 400 participants, including local and foreign government officials from 45 countries, representatives of relevant international organizations, field experts, scientists, as well as foreign partners and other stakeholders who have fraternal relations with the relevant cities and regions of Azerbaijan, attended the forum.

In the end, the participants expressed their consent for the high-level organization of the National Urban Forum in our country, and adopted the final declaration on the results of the Azerbaijan National Urban Forum, which is scheduled to be held annually.
