Efforts to save Iran nuclear deal ‘hit a wall’ – US official.
“We’ve hit a wall,” a senior US State Department official told reporters on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, amid increasing concern that the parties involved can restore the deal,reports Teletrader.
The comments were made concerning Iran’s insistence on the termination of the UN nuclear watchdog’s investigations of the country.
On the other side, previously, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi also hinted that Tehran sees no point in saving the 2015 deal. From his point of view, guarantees are needed that the United States will not withdraw again.
