Iran considers the Rasht-Astara railway a priority

Realization of the Rasht-Astara railway is one of the important and priority projects of the government, said Mohammad Mokhber, the first vice president of Iran, in a meeting with the head of Gilan province and other officials.

He said that the government wants the north-south section of the corridor to be launched quickly. In this case, the country will benefit from the great benefits of international corridors and transit revenues.
