Axios reports former United States President Barack Obama plans to campaign for the Democratic Party in the final week of this year’s mid-term elections, an Obama spokesperson announced.
The 44th president will visit three key states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia, looking to “do his part to help Democrats win next month,” CNN said citing a statement from Obama’s office.
“He looks forward to stumping for candidates up and down the ballot, especially in races and states that will have consequences for the administration of 2024 elections,” the statement added.
Events are scheduled for October 28 in Atlanta and October 29 in Detroit.
