He also studied public and municipal administration at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and is a doctoral student of the Doctor of Philosophy in Economics program of the Management Department of the Faculty of Informatics and Management of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In 2015-2018, he studied at the National Economy and Civil Service Academy under the President of the Russian Federation. He worked in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. For some time, he was the director of the Consumer Goods Expertise Center of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan (later the Ministry of Economy and Industry). From 2015 to the present, he was the deputy chairman of “Azerishiq” Open Joint Stock Company. On January 7, 2020, he was appointed as the chairman of “Azerishiq” OJSC by the order of the President of Azerbaijan.
