China declares yellow danger level due to drought

A yellow danger level has been declared due to severe drought in several areas in eastern, southern, central and southwestern China, Report informs with reference to the National Meteorological Center of China.

Though it will rain in some parts of China in the coming days, dry weather will continue in most regions. Local authorities have been asked to use emergency water sources and provide water to residential areas. There is a threat of forest fires in some provinces.
